I have a tat upper mid back between shoulder blades, and it wasn't bad at all, except one little spot that definitely hurt! But, it doesn't last that long, you won't die, and when the needle lifts, the pain is gone. It is worth it! Eat something about 1 hour before you go, and relax, talk, distract yourself,,, your only goal is to hold still and don't tense your muscles. You'll do fine! good luck!
