Is it possible to tattoo over a birth mark?

I’m planning on getting a tattoo on my abdomen and i have a small, flat (not raised), brown birthmark, its kind of just a different pigment to my natural skin colour, and i was wondering if theres any danger in tattooing over it? Thanks in advance.

there is no danger except the coulor could slightly look differant in one particular spot if ur gonna get tattooed on it get the whole birth mark covered I got my huge birth mark covered it was just a skin pigmintation wasent raised or anything just big and in the light it was like light brown I got tattooed over it augest 28 of last year and no problems my tattoo looks hot and all healed no problems for me but I did mine all in black best thing to do is talk to ur tattoo artist he could give u good suggestions thats what I did good luck
probably not. only if it is raised will the artist go around it.
if anything get it checked out by a doctor before you get the tattoo.
