it depends where you put it. in some places if you get a tatoo it will shrivle and get all grose, but in others it will stay the same. So if you r planning on getting a tatoo, get it where you wont strech it to much or you will lose allot of weight.
your tattoo shouldn’t be affected if you take good care of your skin. Drink alot of water and get some lotion that has elastin in it. I wouldn’t really worry about….if you are super worried then make 30lbs yours goal and get the tattoo as a reward for all your hard work.
Dont get a tattoo in a fatty area that you will loose weight in becauase it will look off shape and possibly have wrinkles in it. Same as if you gained weight (alot) it would change. I highly suggest loosing the weight and then getting the tat. If not run the risk. Consult a good artist before though. Take a balloon blow it up draw something on it and deflate it that will give you an idea, although unlike a balloon, the majority of peoples skin after weight lose regains its elasticity although in severe cases surgery is required to remove excess skin. In your case 30lbs is not an extreme amount and your tattoo on your lower back will not be noticeably effected.

My tattoos are in the same shape they were when I started. I think it’s genetic and depends on your skin. Although, I will tell you that I regret getting two of my three tattoos, and I’m only 22!
thats sounds like the love handle area , id say get one on your ankle, shoulder blade or a upper back, some where boneish…and you can gain and lose all the weight you want and it wont change

it shouldn’t alter the tattoo… unless all 30 lbs that you lose is around your tattoo but that’s not likely.
Lol, the tattoo will probably have stretch marks. Why don’t you lose the weight first THEN get the tattoo?

wait until u lose weight so u wont have to worry or just ask your local tattoo artist they should know the answer
