I got a tattoo on the side of my right foot two weeks ago, and although it looks fantastic, it hasn’t begun to scab or peel at all. Should I be worried? I’ve been taking great care of it, no shoes or socks, kept it moisturized, ect, but everything I’ve read about tats mentions scabbing and peeling after about three or four days. Is this normal for foot tattoos?

I am planning to get a tattoo in the very near future and after doing a little research, I’ve learned that a lot of tattoo ink can contain toxic chemicals. There is no way of finding out what the ingredients are since the companies do not need to disclose this information.
Normally, the ingredients of tattoo inks would not be a concern; however, I am [what some people would call me] a “health-nut/tree hugger” and do not want to put anything in or on my body which could pose a hazardous risk.
So far, the only companies I’ve found that use organic ingredients are Starbrite, Eternal and Stable. Does this mean these companies use natural, earth-based ingredients? Or do they still use some of the same ingredients the other companies use?
Thanks to all who answer.

It seems like today, more people between the ages of 16-30 have tattoos than those who don’t!
Have tattoos just become a fashion trend and have lost the originality, rebellion, and individuality they once had?
