How much will a tattoo hurt if its between the shoulder blades?

I have been thinking about getting a small tattoo of a purple raindrop with my mothers initials inside the raindrop. I would get it in between my shoulder blades. I was wondering how much it will hurt getting a tattoo there?

it will most likely hurt a lot because it is on your spine. but if it is what you really want, then do it. you said it is a pretty small tattoo anyway.
Doesn’t sound like a big deal to do or time wise, so it might be uncomfortable, but won’t take long, so… breath and don’t move!
I have a tat upper mid back between shoulder blades, and it wasn’t bad at all, except one little spot that definitely hurt!
But, it doesn’t last that long, you won’t die, and when the needle lifts, the pain is gone. It is worth it!
Eat something about 1 hour before you go, and relax, talk, distract yourself,,, your only goal is to hold still and don’t tense your muscles.
You’ll do fine!

it just depends on bone location and your pain tolerence. obviously, tattoos aren’t going to feel great… but people still tattoo their entire bodies and deal with the pain.
i doesnt hurt a bit, the upper back is one of the easiest places to get a tattoo,
