Should I be worried? I’ve been taking great care of it, no shoes or socks, kept it moisturized, ect, but everything I’ve read about tats mentions scabbing and peeling after about three or four days. Is this normal for foot tattoos?

However, I have to wear sneakers to work. Will covering the tatoo during the healing process mess it up? What special precautions should I take? This will be my third tattoo and the 2nd one on one of my toes. My skin doesn’t hold ink very well so any advice that would help the healing process is greatly appreciated. Any suggestions on creams or lotions would help too.
