Being a Christian, is it a sin to have body piercings or tattoos? Stating in the Bible that defiling the body is a sin, is this considered that? Thanks guys.

I would like to become a police officer once my kids are in school. But I’d also like to get some tattoos on my arms in a few weeks. What are the general ‘rules’ as far as this go? I know in the military, a tattoo can not cover up more than 25% of a visible surface. Is this the same guidelines that would be used if I want to be a police officer? Thanks.

Both my friend and I are considering tattoos on the sides of our stomach and up the side of our chests. But we are concerned about what happens to the tat both during and after pregnancy. Its obviously going to stretch but what will it look like after the weight loss?
Will it be something easily corrected with a touch up from the tattoo artist?

My friend and I wanted to get tattoos on our inner lips, and I heard that it fades really quickly, but then I heard from someone else that it lasts a really long time. Is there anyone that has one that knows how long it actually lasts without touch-ups?

I’m not against tattoos, but I told him to get something meaningful, not something stupid. He’s getting tats of an AK47, a magnum, a rose dripping blood, and the name of his high school “crew”. These are completely meaningless to him, he’s only getting it because he thinks its “cool”!!! He’s not even a “gangster” or a “thug” he’s a wannabe, he just wants the attention!

I know, I probably sound like a hag and I mean no offense but I am wondering how many of you that have tattoos actually regret it? I am a mortician and have seen many older people who had tattoos and it looks awful. Would you do it again?

I’m turning 16 and we both want to get matching tattoos as kind of a bonding thing, nothing too big but more on the small side. I like alot of flowers and such, maybe even nice quotes. Oh another thing we both love fairies.
